ok i guess its time to update.

recently got kind of addicted to going to bars. oops if my mum sees this im dead. anyway my aunt brought us out for dinner last night. me and 3 of my other girl cousins. we went sakae sushi for dinner and then shopped around for a bit. then my cousin suggested going clarke quay. i thought my aunt would not agree, since one of my cousin is only 12, and it is not really right for her to be bringing us. but then, she agreed. haha. we went to this place called brewery. not bad. its a bar cum restaurant so little kids can enter as long as they do not consume alcohol. me and my cousin had a beer. hers was some fruity one which was kind of sweet for beer, but its nice. mine was supposed to have a coffee flavour but somehow i couldnt taste it at all. tasted a bit like carlsburg to me. my other cousin had bloody mary and it sucks. tasted like pasta sauce with lots of pepper. i drank a bit and it killed my throat. hence, my voice is kind of gone. anyway, though we all drank, the one that became high was my 12 year old cousin. she drank like ice lemon tea yet she was the highest among all of us. even the waiter was amused. but thats considered hyperactive. she became quite normal after a while.

had dinner with sqms at sakura last sun. it was only 13 bucks!! then me, siew fun and xin yi suddenly had this fetish for hong kong drama serials. whee. i watched like 4 serials in less than 2 weeks. currently watching the ultimate crime fighter (which amanda also watched) but i don't really find it very nice. anyway, back to dinner. sakura had lots of food. not that i haven't been there before, but it was really worth it and i am very sure i ate more than 13 dollars worth of food. i especially liked the paper steamboat soup thing. anyway as usual we had lots of fun laughing at ang zuo jin. because for some apparent reason, she cannot tell jokes well and they never appear funny if she's the bearer of the jokes. they went my house after tt to talk. then we discussed abt my makeup. haha. ok thats super random.

sat had this 'surprise' birthday celebration from my teammates. though it isnt a surprise one because i saw the muffins beforehand coz it wasn't really hidden well. but still i was touched. well kindof. but the nail polish was er. weird. i like the neon yellow one though. but too bad i cannot use it because i'm teaching tution and its not really nice to put on such bright nail polish.

last thurs had birthday celebration from chenhui and kahleng. they gave me a bikini. omg. i'll like never wear it even if it starts to snow in singapore of something. ok maybe i'll wear it inside a shirt when i go to the beach. they surprised me with cakes from the raffles city basement and a row of candles which say 'happy birthday'. then they forced me to finish the cake but i didnt because it was too chocolate-y. then had dinner and again we couldnt finish the food. haha then we went clarke quay. lol. this bar was super nice and colourful and i ordered beer while they had cocktails. i had heineken. is that how u spell it? anyway it tastes much better than tiger beer and a bit better than carlsburg. but still, carlsburg would be my choice because not many ppl i know have heineken at home. then we went tcc and shared this cheese thing. so basically we spent the whole day sitting, eating and drinking. and spending money.

my posts are backwards. i just realised. anyhow, im too lazy to change. need to sleep soon as theres ct prelims tomorrow and i need to be up early.

still enjoying my unemployed life. but to bad im sick now.

Whee. another 40 min to go. today's not so bad. at least i've stuff to do. only tt its back to stoning now. yay i can say good bye to this company in less than an hour's time. i seriously cannot wait. later going to celebrate wxy's birthday and my newly awarded freedom.

i doubt i'll be able to sleep tonight. argh. shall spend the time watching the hk serials tt my sis borrowed. its abt some lawyer show. hope it's nice. tomorrow morning im going jogging so i can be tired and no energy to hu si luan xiang. i seriously hope i dun burst out crying like the collection of o level's results 2 years back. i was so nervous that i burst out crying even before i saw my results. and yup i made a fool of myself. hope tt doesn't happen this year. but then again, i think it will so i shall just run to the toilet and hide before anyone sees me.

ok whatever. i shall stop being nervous abt tomorrow and look forward to the celebration tonight. yay.

oh my goodness. im dying of boredom. really really dying. i've literally been stoning since mon. so basically i'm just getting paid to use the comp and stone.

i'm glad its all coming to an end though. just 1 more day. seriously. i can't wait. i've never seen anyone so bored with working before (ok maybe got but i just don't know abt it).

on a lighter note however, im going out with wong xin yi, steff and ang tomorrow. to taka. wxy wants to get clothes and i want to get my sylvanian toys. haha. though its kind of ex. but oh well.

im blogging in fragments. argh. better scurry off to do something thats not blogging. otherwise they might just decide not to pay me ( though i doubt they'll do tt)

this is kind of pathetic. its only my 2nd time blogging during office hours.

anyway had a very unmeaningful birthday celebration yesterday. first wasted my entire day away by working. and by entire day, i really mean entire. because of my office job, plus tuition at night. the only things tt reminded me it was my birthday was the sms-es and msn convers of birthday wishes. otherwise, 3rd march 2008 could just be passed off as another normal routined day for me.

but its ok. at least had a really fun celebration on sat (1st march). it was my birthday celebration. my relatives came over and by right there's this no cards rule coz its already after the new year. but for some reason or another, we ended up playing blackjack. there was like 10 plus people squeezed around this small mah jong table playing cards. and i dun mean the 10 cents 20 cents kind. its the 5 dollars 10 dollars kind. me and my cousin played 2 bucks each so we shared to become 1 player. i won 26 bucks in all. and throughout the entire game, we kept screaming. the most miraculous was when we got the 5 cards thing and blackjack 4 times in a row. which meant we got double our money. haha our uncles got so irritated with us, they almost evicted us from the table. oh and my cute niece shaved. lol. so she looks like a small little cute 3 month old monk. haha. she seemed very fascinated by the penguin sqms brought for me from hk. she laughed when we put it in front of her. yup so tts basically all. it doesnt sound very fun when u read it, im sure. but believe me, it was really one of the funnest birthday celebrations i have ever had with my relatives.

sun was kind of fun too. we went bowling. haha though its been kind of routined for us tt we go bowling every sun. but sun was the day i broke my high score, which is a measely one of 93. haha me and my cousins always have fun every bowling session, though its super expensive. normally i average like what, 50? which is like super duper lousy. but last sun was the first time i got a strike. lol. damn noob.

anyway my cousin gave me her sulvanian (whatever i don't know the spelling) family house and furniture. its this toy thing thats damn cute. i don't know why im still collecting it, but i really find it very cute. haha. anyway im probably going to get a toy sofa or something since im lacking a 'living room'. but then its really ex. 10 plus bucks for a small furniture. but hey, it may become some antique in future (haha yah i should just dream on) but it is really nice to look at, and once in a while, quite fun to just sit there to arrange the little furniture and figurines.
